About the Library: Kaliachak College Library was initiated along with the establishment of the college itself in the year 1995. The name of the college library is “BIDROHI KABI KAZI NAZRUL ISLAM JANMA SATABARSHIKI GRANTHAGAR O PATH KAKSHA”. Our library is located on the first floor of the annexed building situated at the right side of the main gate of the institute. The library is well-ventilated, lighted, and aired to facilitate comfortable seating and a separate reading room area. It follows open access to all students and staff of the college. The Library is fully covered by CCTV surveillance for security purposes and an average of 40 students visit the place every day. The objective of the college library is to support the academic and research needs of the students, faculty, and staff by providing access to a diverse range of informational resources including books, journals, and digital media. In line with the vision and mission of the HEI, it aims to foster learning, encourage research, and promote intellectual development through a conducive environment. By providing appropriate resources the library consistently helps its users improve the teaching-learning process, research, co-curricular activities, and so on. It is presently having a collection of more than 16564 books on different subjects of Science, Social Sciences, and Humanities disciplines. It also subscribes to NLIST (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content) which provides access of e-resources to the members or users. The Library is partially automated and software namely KOHA (23.5 version) has been installed to conduct the library management.
