(Library will be opened during summer vacation following different timing.)
No books will be issued on Saturday, Sunday and other holidays.(During summer and winter recess the library is ready to serve its users).
The Library is the heart of an academic Institution. Kaliachak College always keeps its library in active mode. The students’ friendly staff, modern infrastructure, collection of the latest knowledge, strong students’ support system creates a conducive learning atmosphere in the library. The library remains open on all the working days from 11 AM to 5 PM except Saturday (11-2.00PM). It has 290 sq.metre are with a well furnished reading room and free wi-fi facility. Photo copy and internet facility is available. The Library, being young by age collected 13400 copies of books on 2300 titles of the reputed authors. It subscribes 7 newspapers and 15 journals and magazines in regular basis. E-books and E-journals are available through N-LIST programme of the UGC. The library is fully computerized. Transaction of books, cataloguing etc day to day activity is maintained through SOUL 20 software.
